Character passports

We have recently launched Character Passports at Orchard Park, where students are given eight challenges per term to complete, all relating to our core values. 

We want to ensure our students are achieving their best and ensuring they are prepared for the world outside of school. House awards, as well as greater awards at the end of term and at the end of the academic year, will be given to students who can complete all the tasks. 

Autumn term challenges

AUTUMN Collaboration Drive Excellence Integrity Year 7 Attend a club Achieve an average of 2 for Drive in your report Represent the school (sport, music, school event) Have attendance of over 95% or improving Attend 2 house Events of 4 Fun Fridays Achieve 300 positive points Partcipate in the Big Speech competition Design a poster for the school about its Core values Year 8 Attend a club Achieve an average of 2 for Drive in your report Represent the school (sport, music, school event) Have attendance of over 95% or improving Attend 2 house Events of 4 Fun Fridays Achieve 300 positive points Achieve over 80% in the Big Quizes Raise money for a charity, in or outside of school Year 9 Attend a club Achieve an average of 2 for Drive in your report Represent the school (sport, music, school event) Have attendance of over 95% or improving Attend 2 house Events of 4 Fun Fridays Achieve 300 positive points Attend the careers talk Use UniFrog to research a job, write about the qualifications you need to achieve it. Year 10 Attend a revision or Character club Achieve an average of 2 for Drive in your report Represent the school (sport, music, school event) Have attendance of over 95% or improving Attend 2 house Events of 4 Fun Fridays Achieve 200 positive points Help at a school event Use UniFrog to name 3 post 16 provisions you are interested in Year 11 Attend a revision club Achieve an average of 2 for Drive in your report Attend at least 15 working lunches of Champion's Hours Have attendance of over 95% or improving Complete revision tasks for at least 4 subjects Achieve 200 positive points Improve your Autumn PPE results compared to Year 10 PPEs Complete at least 3 applications for college, Sixth Form or an apprenticeship
