The Friends of OPHS is our parent-teacher association. We aim to raise money to enhance our children's experience at the school and to foster closer links between school, home and the local community. The Friends of OPHS are extremely conscious of the ethos and diversity of our school and respect this in how we approach fundraising.  

Who are our members? 

All parents/carers of our students and all our school staff are automatically members of our Friends' association. We actively welcome community members and encourage all our past students and families to maintain their close links with the school.

How can you help? 

In 2024-25 we raised money to support the school with purchase of outdoor equipment and we're continuing with this theme into 2025-26. We rely on all your generous support of money and time – and it is all massively appreciated.

You can help in many different ways:

Direct voluntary contribution

If you feel able to make a direct voluntary financial contribution, we have a justgiving page set up to make it as easy as possible to donate:

Shop online

If you ever shop online, register with Easyfundraising (also see the link below) and brands will donate to us when you go to your normal shops via EasyFundraising's website or app first. This raises money at absolutely no cost to you! They also run competitions and offer discounts which you can access once registered.

Join our volunteers

If you want to get the inside scoop on news from the school and our activities, join our 'no-commitment' volunteers WhatsApp group by emailing your mobile number to fophs@orchardparkhigh.net. We use this group to share news, test ideas and ask for volunteers for any events.

Support our committee

If you can spare us even one to two hours a month, join our PTA committee and really help us to make a difference.  We're only a small committee within a small school, so we really need people to step forward each year to be able to continue.  We keep things very manageable and all support each other so it is not a burden for anyone.
