Students demonstrate their collaboration skills
This week, students on the DiversITy Talent Programme participated in their second computing workshop.
In this session, the focus was on research, looking at different methods to collect data which they would use in their presentations about their prototypes. The next session will look further into the research, how to use this and summarise findings. It was a great session, with a lot of success and all the students showed their collaboration skills.
Yesterday we welcomed Year 11 students and parents to our second Year 11 parents’ evening: attendance was excellent. Thank you to Ms Coupland and Ms Walsh for both their support of Year 11 and their words of wisdom to parents and students. Thank you also to Mr Baksh and Ms Twyman for explaining how best to revise for English Language, English Literature and Maths. Good luck to all the students taking their art exams next week and their French and Spanish speaking assessments.
On Fun Friday this week, we celebrated International Dance Day with a Hip Hop battle in the theatre. Lots of students came to watch as students showed their skills on the dance floor. Thank you to Mr Capobianco and Ms Ongley for organising this. A special mention to Kelvin, Aaron, Marques, Yochanan, Freya, Cayenne and Regan for their spectacular moves!
